Finding Hannah stall at Greenwich Market was a real success!
After months of trying to find some small tables for our new extension which were stylish and slightly different from the "norm", we were really excited by Hannah's bespoke furniture.
Her unique and decorative style is matched by her efficient and fast service - once we had decided upon our ideal tables, within a few weeks they were in place and much admired by visitors.

Oak bookcase & dining table
We first met Hannah at Greenwich Market when we bought a number of her smaller items. We noticed the portfolio with the larger items and asked if she accepted commissions, to our delight she said yes. we needed a bespoke bookcase in the kitchen.
We were so pleased with the bookcase that we then asked her to make us a dining table.
Hannah provided detailed drawings of the items we wanted for us to agree sizes and design, kept us up to date with progress and delivered them.
We would certianly go to Hannah again in the future, its individual, made to your specification and of high quality.

Handmade wooden coasters
I visited Hannah's stall in Greenwich Market and purchased a set of 4 handmade coasters.
They have made a perfect gift for my close friend. She has a very natural gift of being a designer, and I was so impressed with her work. It's different, modern and she should be very proud.
I hope the stall is very successful for her, and when i'm next in Greenwich visiting my family, i shall bring them along to see her work

Antique stained ash console table
A chance visit to Greenwich market one Saturday, led me to the stand of Hannah Dowding. Drawing in by her small tables, I began leafing through her portfolio and having always wanted a console table, suddenly found myself asking her all about her bespoke pieces.
A visit from Hannah to measure up and various emails later, here is my beautiful table in situ.
Hannah was such a pleasure to work with and her obvious happiness in bringing this piece to fruition was a delight.
Owing to a complex little arrangement of pipes and a wonky skirting board, the thrill of seeing the table effortlessly and perfectly glide into place with just a hairs breadth to spare was thrilling.
Just a month on and it is like the table has always been with us. The wood is lovely; it is beautifully crafted and it is such a personal piece of furniture.
Thank you Hannah so much, for making this wonderful heirloom. The only problem I foresee is which daughter bags it for themselves - one day

Walnut and ash bespoke chest
I had been looking for a storage chest where I could keep my memories of London 2012, but struggled to find anything that could do them justice. And then my partner came across Hannah and the idea of commissioning a piece was created. I was instantly taken by her work, with her use of contrasting colours of wood and beautifully crafted jointing. She clearly loves her work and the material she works with.
Hannah was a joy to speak to, happily taking my ideas and incorporating them into the design as the piece came to life. And I now have the most wonderful piece of furniture, much more than a chest, a family heirloom and a focal point in our lounge. The grain of the Walnut and Ash is stunningly complimented by the Dovetail joints, and the ring of the wood when the lid is placed adds to its uniqueness.
I feel priviledged to own such a lovingly crafted work of art.
